In memory of Karl-Heinz Greggersen

It is with deep regret that we bid farewell to Karl-Heinz Greggersen, a man who was not only an integral part of Greggersen, but also an outstanding personality in our community.

Karl-Heinz passed away on June 02, 2024 at the age of 93.

A life for gas technology

Karl-Heinz had been an integral part of Greggersen since 1931. He worked in his parents' business from a young age, developing an early enthusiasm for the trade and a pronounced passion for technology.

Karl-Heinz was not only a valued managing director, but also a mentor and source of inspiration for many of his colleagues in the Hamburg Metal Guild and his employees in the company. His commitment to the highest quality standards as well as training in the trade and his deep understanding of technological developments have left a lasting mark on our environment.

In addition to his professional dedication, Karl-Heinz Greggersen will also be remembered for his humanity and his sincere interaction with everyone who knew him. His death leaves a significant gap in our community that will be difficult to fill.

Until his death, Karl-Heinz held a variety of positions in our company and in our family. As a son, as a manager and as a father, later as a grandfather and until the end also as a great-grandfather. His commitment and values have had a lasting impact on the company and its employees. We will remember him as a key pillar that ensured stability and progress.
Now we have to say goodbye to Karl-Heinz. We will miss his advice, his ideas and his courage.
